The good news is that the Palm Springs area, as a tourist destination, is open to having 420-friendly businesses. New regulations on Cannabis are beginning to define where and what types of places may serve you a bowl, a pre-roll or crystalized THC for you to dab when you are visiting the area. Desert Hot Springs now has three 420-friendly hotels and spas, while Palm Springs has a lounge with more to come in the next 12 months. Worth the drive!
Desert Hot Springs Inn, Desert Hot Springs (www.deserthotspringsinn.com/cannabis-friendly/)

Desert Hot Springs was the first city in Southern California to permit large-scale cannabis cultivation. Seeing that this would be a good opportunity to market to the cannabis lifestyle, the Desert Hot Springs Inn began allowing those who imbibe the freedom to do so at their establishment. The surroundings for that uplifting, helping you take all the sensory touches in and enjoy swimming, the blue sky in the day or the star-filled nights in the desert. It’s also pet friendly for those who travel with their furry friends.
Miracle Springs Resort, Desert Hot Springs (www.miraclesprings.com)
This is the one place we have visited where you can see the expanse of the Coachella Valley and take in the views from the windmills to the San Jacinto Mountains as you stare out westward from this historic resort. It was here in 1914 that Cabot Yerxa unearthed an underground stream of mineral water that has made this area famous.
The O Spa, Desert Hot Springs (www.theospapalmsprings.com)
The O Spa is a boutique, quaint 13-room hotel that allows you to escape into your own experience. The services include cannabis room service as they grow their own or hook you up with one of the local delivery services.
The 420 Lounge, Palm Springs
This place is so new, they don’t even have a website, but you can find them in social media @420loungepalmsprings. Here you can come in, check out some bud at the counter and hang in the big living room with your cell, table or laptop. Some of us have escaped to get work done out of the office while have a little therapy.
